1.

 Approval/Telex from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sudan
  Visas are issued upon approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khartoum. All applications must first be presented to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khartoum by one of the following:
  • A Sponsor (Relatives or Friends in Sudan).
  • A Sponsoring Company based in Sudan.
  • Business partner based in Sudan.
  • A Hotel or Travel Agency based in Sudan. Please Click Here for the list of hotels and travel agencies who can assist with the visa application process.

2.

 Valid U.S./Non-US Passport
  You have to MAIL us your current valid and signed US/non-us passport. Passport should be valid at least SIX (6) months after your intended arrival to Sudan. Also, you should make sure you have at least ONE completely blank page for visas in your passport. Amendment pages (pages 22, 23 and 24) do not count.
If your passport is about to expire or needs more pages, please obtain new, renew or add pages to Your passport.

3.

 ONE (1) Passport-Style Photograph
  It must be 2x2 inches in size. We always recommend using a professional photographer to avoid delays.No glasses to be worn in any photo. You can choose to submit digitized photo to us via email: orders@travelvisapro.com (in subject line put travelers first and last names). Additional $10 Photo Printing FEE will be added to your request. NOTE: Photo must be high resolution, clear, and provide proper contrast and white background for it to be accepted by the consulate.

4.

 A Copy of Roundtrip ticket/itinerary
  It must contain the name of passenger. it can be an electronic ticket. If you don't have one, we will be glad to provide you one. Additional $15 Reservation FEE will be added to your request

5.

 Proof of Financial Ability
  You must provide a copy of a recent bank statement or a letter from your bank verifying you have sufficient funds to support yourself. Bank statment must contain your name and address. You can cover-up the account number if you do not want to share it with the consulate

6.

 Business Letter (for business visas)
  Please provide a business letter, which includes: (Sample Business Letter)
  • The name of a reference/visiting firm in Sudan.
  • Detailed explanation of the nature of business to be performed as well as duration of stay.
  • Company guarantee of financial responsibility for all travel expenses incurred by you.
  • The letter must be on company letterhead.
  • The letter must specify the visa validity and number of entries, the applicant is asking for.

7.

 Non-US Passport Holders (proof of your legal status in the USA)
  Please provide a proof of your legal status in the USA (i.e. copy of your green card (front and back), valid visa, I-20, IAP-66, etc.)

8.

 Additional Paperwork (for Humanitarian visas) - 48 Hour Fast-Track Service Available
 
  • A Copy of the Humanitarian Aid Commission Certificate (HAC). This can be obtained from the Humanitarian Organization.
  • Employment Verification Letter from the Organization’s Office in the U.S.
  • Additional ONE (1) Passport Style Photograph.

Additional Sudan visa information:
VISA VALIDITY: Usually, business or tourist visa is valid from eight (8) to thirty (30 days) . The validity is granted at consular discretion. Extensions of stay in the Sudan may be done through the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Office in Khartoum, Sudan.

SPECIAL NOTE: Your passport SHOULD NOT have Israeli Visas and Immigration stamps affixed to it.

SUDANESE NATIONALS: If you're Sudanese National and are holding American Passports or you U.S. Travel documents, you must follow different procedure:

  • The consular visa fee for you is $51.
  • Provide proof of Sudanese Nationality: Copy of Sudanese passport, Copy of Nationality Certificate, Copies of Parents Sudanese Passport or Nationality Certificate.
  • Your U.S. Passport AND one (1) Passport Photo.
  • One (1) Passport Photo.
  • Vosa Application.
  • Sudanese who are holding travel documents to re-enter the U.S. are required to pay National Taxes according to their occupation from date of entry to the U.S. Tax fee is $75.00 for each year. Please note that Sudanese passport or U.S. Permanent Residence Card must be provided to the Embassy with the visa application.
  • For Sudanese nationals processing time is 5-7 business days.
